HOUSING
  • SAE 1045 Solid Steel Forged Housing: This is unequivocally the best carbon alloy steel for this application.
  • CNC Machined Housing: Make our parts and bearings dimensionally perfect, eliminating any die wear issues.
BALL STUDS
  • SAE 4140 hot forged Chromoly Ball Studs: For the strongest possible metallurgy.
  • Induction Heat Treated Ball Studs: Provides a very precise heat treatment to the exact depth and location we want it.
  • Rolled Threads: Are made by pressing the shape of the threads into the ball stud instead of cutting. This strengthens the threads instead of weakening them and allows for easy movement of hardware. This ain't no Ikea furniture!
  • Step Threads : allows for very easy movement of hardware on install and superior holding when torqued (installer choice).
BEARING DESIGN
  • Rugged Metal to Metal Bearing
BOOTS
  • CR Rubber Boots: The most durable material for undercar applications. Resistant to deterioration from road level ozone, oil/gas/engine fluids and extreme heat or cold

1 ton Steel tie rod

This 1 ton steel tie rod is BEEFY! Our 2015 JKUR was going through the Death Wobble blues. After replacing ball joints and upper control arm bushings on the front Dana 44 axle it still felt loose. The Apex steel tie rod was the fix. The jeep steering feels nice and tight and not a hint of wobble when hitting bumps in the road. Very easy to replace the factory unit. Take measurements off of the old rod and match to the new. I run 35" BFG KO2's, don't get crazy on the trails so this steel Apex Chassis tie Rod was perfect for my needs. Highly recomend Apex Chassis components. BTW, the aluminum units look really good. Excellent products!

Just impressive

I originally bought a apex kit on a 3rd party website. Discovered/decided I need to do the drag link flip not because the apex product at all but other problems with a aftermarket axel. I was stocked a real person answered the phone and was very intimately knowledgeable instead of some secretary clerk. Got me the parts I needed and shipping was far faster then what I needed/expected. Parts and install went in without a hitch. Im now forever a lifetime apex customer.
